I have been married for 7 years. I still remember the day so clearly when my husband proposed to me. He would say that it could have been so much better if he earned the same salary as today, but to me it was special and perfect.
Quinton has always been a romantic and then already wanted to ensure that I got the ring that I always dreamed of. It was an exciting time in our lives. We met with jewellers and we explained our vision to them with enthusiasm, but they could never really capture our thoughts on the sketches. We were assured by them that the "Real Thing" would be perfect.
The day Quinton proposed was so special and perfect that even the ring was perfect. To be quite honest, I did not even notice the ring, he could have given me a ring made of grass and I would have accepted his proposal. Only months later he informed me that he was not happy and I realized the truth as well, but being so happy with each other it never really bothered us. Over the years you get use to what you have and live with it. When the opportunity came to invest in something new I was very sceptical. We already had 1st hand experience of the disappointment to get this special jewellery crafted. You must remember that for me it is not simply a ring but something so much more. This "thing" around my finger captured thoughts, memories and a promise to my best friend, husband and lover that nobody can break. So, I agreed to meet Richard. This time I had so many questions and there was also the concern of entrusting a "stranger" with some of your most prized possessions. To be honest, this time it felt different and real. Richard had a good understanding of what we explained and captured our ideas and explanations with a single proposal. The picture supplied was exactly what we wanted. I was still sceptical as you know that what you see in a picture is not always the truth. Quinton and I took a chance and we handed over two rings with very sentimental and actual value over to Richard. A week later I had the ring in my hand and tears of joy could not hold back the fact that what we got was better than the picture. Since then Richard's work has promoted itself and three other friends of ours has used his services. I would gladly promote his work and will always know where to look for expert opinion and masters in the craft of jewellery.
